The Jacksonville Affordable Housing Guy wants to salute Martin Luther King, Jr. for all he did to help America become a better a nation.    I just rewatched his most famous speech.

We have come a long way but still have a long way to go.  As Martin Luther King said, “We should not be satisfied until until Justice rolls down like water and righteousness like a stream.”  My prayer is that all Americans become unsatisfied with sad state of race relations and begin to work togather to make the changes so all people are treated equal which will require us to change perceptions, systems and laws.  To do this, we will have to change our mindset (we have to learn how somethings are working unfair for a large segment of our country), change our heartset (we have to care enough about the segment of people not being treated right to do something), and change our handset (we have to sacrifice time, money and resources to make the changes necessary). I hope to be a part of the movement when it gets started.  As I wait for it to get started, I am going to do my part as a small business owner to help as many people as possible to enjoy the American dream of home ownership.
